About Original Noise
I started Original Noise because I was continually disappointed when buying merch from my favorite artists. I found most artist’s merch to be remarkably uninspired both in quality and design.

An artist's merch should be deeply tied to their brand and match the quality of the music they produce. It is one of the core ways fans connect with their artists; however, most merch feels like an afterthought. The spirit that flows throughout an artist's music rarely flows into their merch.

Original Noise solves this problem by working one-on-one with artists to create custom garments that resonate with the ethos of their music and brand. It is a collaborative process that starts with a sketch and ends with a garment made to the exact specifications of the artist.

Original Noise leverages its connections with factories and textile mills to create sustainable garments that are made in the USA.
In collaboration with Public Library Commute
This capsule collection focuses on material and fit. Combining key graphics central to the Public Library Commute brand, these garments perfectly capture the contemporary, laid-back vibe that emanates from every PLC song.

For the sweatshirts, we started with just a sketch to design the perfect slightly cropped yet baggy sweatshirt and tweaked the design until we found the ideal fit. The PLC logo is embroidered on the front with the Original Noise logo stitched into the back. The result is a perfectly weighted garment that physically represents the feeling of listening to Public Library Commute.

When choosing fabrics for this collection, we stumbled across this micro corduroy that we thought would be perfect for a pair of shorts. Lightweight with a slight amount of stretch, this fabric gives the shorts a perfectly elevated feel. The custom taupe-colored flower embroidery takes inspiration from PLC’s logo. Embroidered in taupe on both the front and back of the shorts, this logo was the perfect complement to the rich corduroy fabric.
